About this Advisor

My career in financial services began in 1995 at Dean Witter where I built a highly successful practice. I was recognized for my financial planning expertise and appointed as an Associate Vice President in 1999. I am certified by the Investment Management Consultants Association as having successfully completed coursework in the “Essentials of Investment Consulting”.

In 1997, Dean Witter merged with Morgan Stanley and the firm eventually changed its name to Morgan Stanley.

Sharing information with my clients through ongoing workshops and seminars is important to me. The market volatility experienced in the past few years has helped me to become proficient at hedging portfolios with the use of proper asset allocation and Alternative Investments.

In June of 2008 I started my own wealth management practice in association with SeaCrest Wealth Management. The objective approach and open architecture that is available to clients is truly refreshing and has long been a desired goal of mine.

Giving back to the community has always been important to me. I have served on many nonprofit boards such as the Rapid City Area Chamber of Commerce Transportation Committee the Pennington County Humane Society and the Rapid City YMCA.

On a personal note, Audra, my wife of 27 years, in addition to being my best friend and greatest supporter is a healthcare administrator at a local long term care facility. The greatest blessings of our lives are our two wonderful daughters, Sydney and Kelsey. We share a passion for outdoor activities of all kinds including hiking, biking, hunting and fishing, and golf. We are blessed to live in the beautiful Black Hills of South Dakota and try to take advantage of the natural beauty of our area every chance we get.

Let my experience be your guide in these difficult and often confusing markets. Let me help you with a plan for your success.
