Heather Hastey passionately built her career in the financial services industry, over the past 20+ years, by studying the markets, training, and reading. After she graduated from the University of Arizona, she thought she would pursue a career in Behavioral Science helping kids; however, her move to San Diego, back in 1993, soon changed when she was offered a new position in the financial services industry.

She worked as an Assistant Branch Manager for both AVCO Financial and Home Savings of America; an Advisor with Wells Fargo Advisors where she was recognized for her top production, as a new hire. Her strong customer service skills have followed her throughout her banking, lending, and investment career.

Throughout her career, her achievements were recognized through awards such as President’s Club, Diamond’s Club, as well as Employee of the Quarter.

She has a passion for what she does. During the 2008 crisis, Heather spent her hours reading books such as The Essays of the Great Depression by Ben Bernanke, House of Morgan by Ron Chernow, as well as numerous business publications such as the Financial Times and Barrons. Heather enjoys engaging her clients and teaching them about the value of investment planning.

Her goal is to be the Trusted Advisor who consults and guides her clients all year long, not per sales transaction/commissions. She enjoys researching for her clients and working alongside them as well as the team she has put in place for each client, based on each of their own needs and financial goals.

She believes in taking a holistic approach with her clients. It’s not just about investments but the entire picture with her clients. It’s about designing a financial planning blueprint consisting of the client’s debt, real estate owned, insurance, college funds, and investments. She believes these areas play a key role when helping clients achieves their financial success.

Heather believes in the team building approach and collaboration, so if she doesn’t have the answer, she will work her network on her clients behalf.

She enjoys spending time with her dog, Missy, her cat, Rocket, friends, talking to her sisters, reading, volunteering, and going to the gym.
